We first decided to build a teepee and it turned out to be a great success. Then as we were reminded that it was a competition of whose tower was the tallest, we decided that with the time we had left, we could alter the teepee to make it even taller than it was. As a couple minutes passed, the instructor added on that she would present the winning team with 10 bonus points. This made us more motivated to come up with an even taller tower and quickly decide what strategy we were going to use in the limited amount of time we had. With only a few minutes left, we slowly came to realize that the tower was not going to be able to support itself and it ended up laying flat on the table. One technological tool we used with this experiment was the timer up on the Smartboard, and also we recorded the experiment on the Ipad and took a picture of the final result as well.
